  1. Ripping out right now in what’s left of this squall.
  2. Nothing sunny or really warm about today at the moment. Socked in with fog.
  3. Sounds like its time to fire up the lawn thread.
  4. Is there a good way to remove the ice from gutters? Or just let mother nature melt it? Today seems like it would be a decent opportunity for a combination of both mother nature and human intervention.
  5. I'm supposed to go collect a stormwater sample at facility here in town for work. HRRR indicates I start as rain before transitioning to snow. Wondering if I just start as paste here.
  6. Could be a fun hour or two up here based on 12z HRRR
  7. Late February sun angle doing it job today. Icicles crashing all of the place.
  8. Looking like I won't have to shovel. Which is nice.
  9. Jokes on you. I didn't even go to prom. Best decision of my life. Parents paid for my year long golf membership instead. Year >> 4 worthless hours.
  10. Probably. Will hold for now though.
  11. "which is hopeful." I think a lot of people are just done with the cold and snow. More so than other years. Couped up indoors all the time and can't have any gatherings. Winter can end tomorrow and I'd be happy because it means golfing, fishing, and yard work. Seriously though, the Euro op has three uninteresting >1000 mb lows passing the region. Stat padders if anything.
  12. 36-hours of mood flakes. Whee! If I put down ice melt first, I wonder if I'll even have to shovel.
  13. Region wide 3-6"....time for spring.
  14. Should we be concerned that the mid-level centers track up the St. Lawrence/don't really exist? Looks like we're really only relying on WAA for this one. Edit: suppose 925 wraps up over ACK maybe.
  15. Yep. Just took the trash out. Starting to get crusty.
  16. Same up here. Quick shower earlier when it was 30 F on car thermometer was all liquid
  17. I think like half decent rule of thumb is to go colder at the surface, but warmer aloft with overrunning events. I've seen it posted many times "Sleet is closing than you think" or something like that and its often true.
  18. https://www.weather.gov/hgx/ 1/8" apparently
