With snow officially gone, a free weekend and no sports to watch, I'm all in on cleaning up from winter tomorrow. Should be a little chilly, but will be good to be out working in the yard. Hoping to clear the yard and get early spring fertilizer down this weekend.

Glad this is going to miss. Have been on to Spring for a month plus.

What's this crap the Euro & Canadian are trying to sell us for next weekend? Surely I won't have to pay attention till Thursday.

GYX is awfully bullish. I'm expecting half of that. I like 2" of snow followed by 1/2" of sleet & 6 hours of drizzle.

Hope it stays that way. Just enough ice on the trees. Very pretty in the sun though.

It is odd. The snowflakes has coincided with the brightest sky of the day.

Have hung on to the cold here all morning. Must be right at 32. Trees have a nice crust on them. Should be interesting to see how far north the warm front can make it.

Love it. Kiss this sorry excuse for Winter goodbye and move on to golf season. We keep this pattern up, maybe the course will be open in March down south. Hoping to get out a couple more times this year than last (~10). Hoping to keep my strides with the putter going from last year. Would really like to get to a 2 handicap. Not that I have one officially, but probably around a 6. A new set of sticks (mine are now 7 years old) and playing more often should do it. On the topic of equipment, I was at the local golf store towards the end of last season. I was complaining to the guy that I hit the ball too high and I'm losing distance. He stuck me in one of those TrackMan machines. My spin rate was absurd, like 8,000 rpms with my 7-iron (tour average is ~6,500). Guy handed me a 2019 7-iron and my rpms dropped to 6,800. The new technology is insane. Now what to do to convince the wife a new set of sticks is ok. lol

The change in that northern stream vort overnight was impressive. Clicking through the 00z Euro I legit muttered "What the hell was that?" She gone!

12z EPS not coming northwest is disappointing.

Best I can tell quickly, the biggest change the Euro made was the handling of the 1st northern stream vort. Instead of wrapping it up on Dallas, it comes in much weaker and just floats through the midwest. Toggle 06z.72 versus 12z.66.

Sure. The lead vort that comes out of Mexico is such a piece of crap that it barely has an impact.

Impressive change with respect to the Northern Stream vort. But we're going to need a Boxing Day style comeback on this one.
