You can always tell how things are going with the amount of new posts... Not a lot good to say right now other than cold will be nearby/over us. Signs are that the PNA is going to start dropping towards neutral or negative near mid month though..

I really thought yall might get a sneaky 1-3 inch event Friday with the clipper but that's trended way north much like the storm Sunday/Monday.

Yeah it's going way north. The writing is on the wall for that one. I doubt we get one drop/flake pellet of frozen out of it. Let's hope the north trend exists for wave 2 as well.

On most of the suppressed runs it comes down in front of it and suppresses it. I think we need it to dive down deeper and slower.

Got a lot warmer than forecasted today. High was forecast to be 47 it got to 53.

I think the period between the 11th and 16th could be our best shot as the cold relaxes.

Yep they are night and day. Euro has no southern stream energy. Just a clipper.

Seems more likely it will continue to trend north at this point.

The least ZR this run. Mostly cold rain except higher elevations near Blue Ridge. Virginia doesn't get that much snow either.
