This winter sucks. That is all.

Eh, we have a lot of issues with this one. If it trends stronger it will likely be too amped and rain, but we need heavier precip to cool the column for snow. Temps are borderline and super warm beforehand, and the CAD high is really nowhere to be found on the Euro.

The Euro is weak and a whole lot of nothing.

This is a miller B so be prepared for a dry slot somewhere in NC.

I'm aware, yet it's snowier than December for MBY. Always good for fireworks generally. Especially living near the mountains.

Oh I totally agree, that's why in some ways this winter has sucked more than last. It's been much cooler here and generally wet. 7 or 8 nights below 20, compared to 2 or 3 last winter. Not a lot of great days for outdoor activities compared to last winter. This winter we have had 1 winter storm warning and 2 or 3 winter weather advisories and less than one inch of snow. Last winter I think we had a couple winter weather advisories and a couple dustings but that's it. I guess the only reason last winter may grade lower is the winter forecasts we're so bullish last winter and it was a complete fail for the entire east coast generally. This winter was pretty conservative and may be an overachiever for the Mid Atlantic and NE after next week.

I'm just putting information out there, they almost always go above average now anyways and can you blame them?

Well for one of the first times this winter there is a nice ring around the moon. Could it be true?

We really need that CAD high to build in faster and further south if you are south of the NC/VA border. Its definitely a miller B type system and bombs out on the coast after the transfer.

Virginia ends up with a good snowstorm.

Looks like the high is too far north and we wont have enough cold air this run. Heavy rain incoming.

Most models give me nothing next week yet places like Elizabeth city and Norfolk may get buried. Can we end this pathetic winter please?

Yea its a long drive from Marion, about an hour and a half to 2 hours

Its super borderline though, we need to see that CAD trend stronger since its a miller B.

We'll see, these mid range storms have not been working out all winter long
