  1. Just high clouds mostly, some mid level strolling in
  2. Yea I'm already 35 almost haha..
  3. Still not quite sold we will get 2 or 3 inches of snow or sleet here. Still worried about ZR but think it shouldn't be more than .20
  4. I'm down to 20.8. May make a run at the teens. Can't hurt
  5. Euro looks pretty similar to previous runs
  6. For sure. Would be nice if you Euro trended a bit south here at the last minute
  7. The UK is actually colder than the Canadian here
  8. UK still looks pretty solid and cold here along the foothills
  9. BTW, it's 23.2 here already and the forecasted low from NOAA is 22.
  10. The GFS is more in line with other models now. I will call this a win if I get an inch of snow/sleet and .10 ZR
  11. Pretty much every model I have seen so far tonight is trending slightly warmer
  12. It's not much here. Warms up past freezing quickly
  13. That run even cut down Roanoke totals
  14. Crappy NAM run here, pretty much no sleet or snow, straight to ZR
  15. It is warmer, but mostly a product of less moisture so the dew point is lower
  16. So far it's less aggressive with the overrunning finger of precip
  17. Let's see if the NAM is as cold as 18Z, trends colder, or warmer
  18. HRRR is quite the sleetfest for Northern foothills
  19. HRRR is 2-3 degrees warmer so far.. shocker.
  20. It will be interesting to see how it's delineated. I figure McDowell mountains will be warning and eastern McDowell will be advisory.
  21. I'm honestly surprised the NWS went with WSW
  22. I do think places from Marion to Taylorsville up to Mt Airy see a lot of sleet, probably an inch or 2.
  23. I have seen many storms similar to this where Marion had 3 to 4 inches of snow and by the time you got down to Bostic there was little to nothing. Sometimes even by the time you get to the Rutherford/McDowell border
