I really thought we would finish out March with below average rainfall. Now we are closing in on average and there's still plenty of March left. I'm closing in on 2 inches this event alone. It's pouring.

Well fellas I believe it's over for most of us now. Wouldn't rule out some snow about 3,500 but think it's full blown spring for most of us. I give this winter a C. It would have been lower due to the amount of busts but I did get to see snow fall on multiple occasions and that's always a win.

77 and hot
-
Not as smoky as a few weeks ago when they did another burn in that area. Looks like our old friend the wet pattern is coming back next week

4.5 here 3 miles west of Marion.
-
I'm glad to see the models showing a drying trend but will believe it when I see it.
-
Nice! I got my son out today on the Greenway here in Marion. Talked to a game warden, he said the walleye are running now out of Lake James. If I have time one evening I'm going to try my luck.

Water levels are good, have fun!
-
I'm beginning to think that this wedge isn't going to break. It only got to 55 yesterday and foggy still today.

Coach Brewer teaches that type of football. It can work at McDowell if the kids buy in. Look at what Mitchell and Mountain Heritage has accomplished
-
@mercurydime @Blue_Ridge_Escarpment We may get a big snow yet.. McDowell whipped Hickory to break a long conference losing streak
-
Down in the lowlands we are still stuck at 46...
-
Awful evening. Down to 37 and closing in on an inch of rain.
-
Just saw that, has some decent NW flow snow too for yall
-
I went up to Curtis Creek for a few hours today to try out some new gear. Saw some fish and waded about a 1/2 mile. Great day to be outside!
-
Just tell me when! Seriously though with this covid mess hopefully subsiding we should do a mountains/foothills float trip, fishing trip, cookout or something
-
Two penguins are kayaking in the desert. One turns to the other and says, "where's your paddle?" The other says, sure does.
-
Stay afloat damn you!
-
The Catawba has become incredibly popular for float trips and tubing trips. 10 years ago there was hardly anyone on the water
-
I have been thinking about a new kayak myself. I used to be a kayak instructor and miss getting out.
-
Winter was pretty lame here so I'm definitely ready for spring trout fishing, grilling, and watching my son play in the yard
-
Little bit of model disagreement with rain amounts you think?
-
Nice, I graduated in 2005. May know her.
