  1. Flying ants? I swear I got out of my car into a hatch tonight. Edit: Should have read down a few posts. I think they are flying ants.
  2. Great sunset from the 6th hole at our course tonight.
  3. Glanced at this quickly and thought it said Sheepshit Lake. I didn't think anybody would want to swim there!
  4. Probably a good decision on my part not to visit Lake George this weekend.
  5. I can’t remember where or when I heard it but years ago I swear I heard that we were one of the cloudiest areas of the country.
  6. Had to go to Littleton and then through St. J to a friend’s camp on Joe’s Pond in Danville. Water was just seeping out of all the rock cuts along the road sides. Probably could use a few dry days in that area.
  7. Going to tune in to CBC for the 11:00 news. We seemed to miss the worst of it but the radar has looked ugly over Montreal all day. I wonder how well all the underground infrastructure they have handles the water.
  8. I'd like see that keep moving west please.
  9. The bigger question is what is you current douche point? Seems pretty high.
  10. Is it really that much of an imposition?
  11. I look at forecasts and just wonder how much more we can take. Like PF said in a different thread, event though I enjoy weather and try to separate that from the actual impact but it’s getting harder and harder. I find it hard to ignore the “let’s wash away all the bridges in VT” type comments. Its too real and too close now.
  12. I can confirm that we did. Lots of lightening too. Almost an inch.
  13. I’m fine with anyone else but us flooding with no consequences here. We’ve had enough for now. It’s time to share the bounty.
  14. Ummm, lately winter has a hard time even starting by then.
  15. How many years in a row does historic flooding have to happen for it to no longer be considered historic? Asking for some wet friends.
  16. Not a drop here but the thunder was loud enough that I thought we were going to get it. Looked at radar and that storm was nowhere near me.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. St. j has had more than 15” since June 1 and KMPV is at it over 11” when I looked late last week. And you posted the cocorahs map.
  18. No rain here. I spent the day at our employee appreciation event at Lake Morey. It was beautiful.
  19. Went for a bike ride on the Island Line rec path last night. This trail is on an old railroad causeway in Lake Champlain. Really cool to be riding in the middle of the lake. The headwinds on the way back were brutal.
  20. KMPV has had 10.56 since June 1st, St. Johnsbury 14.30 and MVL 12.77. Conversely, Springfield, VT is at .62 for the month and 3.17 since June 1st.
