    Not this time but I have. The Christmas markets we’re going strong so there was plenty to see and do.

    From Bethel through Rumford on Rt. 2 was pretty sketchy. Road was getting covered. Waze sent me down a side road around Rumford and there was an accident that blocked the road. Turned around and backtracked to get back to Rt. 2. We saw the backup from across the river, had to be close to a mile long. Went through @tamarack’s neighborhood. No snow by then. Stopped in Bangor for the night. North to Presque Isle tomorrow.

    I've been saying this for a while. The last couple of winters have featured trails melting from the ground up.

    Not helpful for my trip. We’ll probably leave Tuesday afternoon and drive to Bangor and finish the drive to PI Wednesday morning.

    I’m actually toying with the idea of leaving Friday and stopping in Quebec City for the night and leaving from there. I’ll play it by ear though.
