  1. 32.5° here. Haven’t gotten below 33-34° yet. Seems to cloud up before we get there. Not going to the Maine snowmobile show in Augusta this year. Couldn’t really justify it after such a poor year last year. I’ll miss it.
  2. My son went for a hike on Spruce Mt. in Plainfield today. It tops out just over 3000’. Was snowing there.
  3. That is what I meant. and from the pictures, it looks pretty nice.
  4. One of my goals this summer was to drive up to the top of Whiteface and I never got around to it. Next year.
  5. He has a place at Jay Peak. I assume that’s where it is.
  6. I hope so. I’m in Pittsfield for a wedding. The ceremony is outside at 3:00. Don’t want the bride and groom to be blown away.
  7. Just drive down to Pittsfield, VT through the mountains. Past peak but still lots of color. The road from Rt.12 in Bethel over to Rt. 100 in Rochester goes up to 2120’. Some beautiful views.
  8. Not a Red Sox fan but Tiant was a great character and a very good pitcher. https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/10/08/sport/cuban-mlb-pitcher-luis-tiant-dies-spt-intl
  9. Waving to @powderfreakon the other side of the Worcester Range from the the 16th tee.
  10. Doesn’t seem fake here. I’m at 1250’ and there was some fog. Not frigid by any means but wasn’t expecting mid-30s.
  11. Got down to 34.8° with some car top frost. I wasn’t expecting it to get quite this chilly.
  12. Pretty much. Celebrated our centennial this year.
  13. @kdxkeni took a few more pictures of the from the front 9 at my course this afternoon. You’d also be interested in the numerous trees they have marked to take down over the off season. Some really big, old sugar maples that are at the end of their life, a few ash and several big white pines.
  14. Only .28 here but the timing was nice. Beautiful day out there.
  15. It looks like the cut was +15 after the second round. The first thing I saw when I went to the NHGA website was the final round pairings and it just happened to have a kid, well a kid to me, who is from this area of VT and played and worked at my former golf course.
  16. They've actually removed a lot of trees over the last several years. They have some marked for cutting this year too. It's a fun course. It's not overly long but the conditions are always good and it is challenging. We hosted the State Amateur Championship last year and the Mid-Am this year. Country Club of Barre
  17. It was a nice start to October, though my golf game seems to have gone into hibernation early .
  18. It’s absolutely laughable given the stretch of great weather we’ve that the one golf tournament that I manage to play in all year just happened to be on the one day we got 2” of rain. You can’t make that sh*t up.
