Had to go to Littleton and then through St. J to a friend’s camp on Joe’s Pond in Danville. Water was just seeping out of all the rock cuts along the road sides. Probably could use a few dry days in that area.
Going to tune in to CBC for the 11:00 news. We seemed to miss the worst of it but the radar has looked ugly over Montreal all day. I wonder how well all the underground infrastructure they have handles the water.
I look at forecasts and just wonder how much more we can take. Like PF said in a different thread, event though I enjoy weather and try to separate that from the actual impact but it’s getting harder and harder. I find it hard to ignore the “let’s wash away all the bridges in VT” type comments. Its too real and too close now.
I was thinking the same thing. St. j has had more than 15” since June 1 and KMPV is at it over 11” when I looked late last week. And you posted the cocorahs map.
Went for a bike ride on the Island Line rec path last night. This trail is on an old railroad causeway in Lake Champlain. Really cool to be riding in the middle of the lake. The headwinds on the way back were brutal.
I think you’re wrong. Obviously people were so upset by the lack of fees that they just stayed in bed with their heads under the blankets so upset they didn’t even log on.
