  1. I can hear the golf course soaking up the water from here.
  2. Seems like summer is knocking on our door. I would change the title of the thread if I could figure out how. Anyway, the rain has started here, a bit earlier than I was expecting. I’d like to see us get more than the .25” or so we got over the weekend. Would love to see 1”+
  3. Ahh, our annual who like HHH discussion has started. Just pull up last year's thread, or the year before that or the year before that etc.
  4. @dendrtite, have you been doing some lobbying down in Concord? http://www.wcax.com/content/news/New-Hampshire-designates-official-poultry-485852301.html
  5. Breeze coming though the window feels cooler now. House was 82 when I got home. My son had closed all the windows when the first storms came through and the house was nearly unbearable. Getting better now. Oh, glad everything turned out ok Hippy. Looks harrowing.
  6. Hopefully DIT slathers the spf 50 on that dome of his to avoid a blistering from that desert like sun!
  7. It sounds like Lavarock should try this
  8. Yes, tongue in cheek, sort of. Sometimes it just isn't meant to be. That's why so many New Englanders moved west, it's just a heck of a lot easier to grow stuff in other places!
  9. Sounds like there is a reason grass wasn't there to begin with
  10. 40° at my house. Beautiful stretch of weather but we need some rain. Starting to get brown at the golf course in areas that aren't covered by sprinklers and irrigation isn't a complete replacement for rain.
  11. Wow, what a party animal! Pulling out the dailies for entertainment!
  12. I always think that the sharper looking maple leaves are the sugar maple and the more rounded ones are Norway. If that makes any sense.
  13. Don’t fret, I read in another thread that Scooter will be watering your lawn later this weekend.

  15. Be prepared to be beaten down, tough I am more on this side of things than the lawn kings side.
  16. I crop them to get the files smaller. It’s a pain though. Easier to do from a pc than a phone.
  17. You don't feel a sudden "illness" coming on?
  18. Or to his friend’s dad while nude hot tubbng.
  19. I don't know if its physically possible to be much nicer than the last two days. If all summer could be like this, with enough rain to avoid the normally devastating New England drought, I would love it.
  20. Definitely a second foliage season. It blows me away the sheer number of different shades of green nature produces.
  21. I figured that the winter of 2017-18 has seemingly drawn its last breath so it would be time to fire up a NNE spring thread. All in all this past weekend was decent, with Saturday being a real beauty. I played in the VT Golf Association Spring 4 ball tournament and we even managed to miss the rain yesterday as it held off until we were done with our round. Below is a picture from the 12th tee at Equinox on Saturday.
