    Took a road trip south for something to do today. Went down to @backedgeapproaching’s neighborhood and drove up to the top of Equinox. It was hazy and about 75° when we were up top. Looped down through Bennington and Woodford then back up 100. Ran into some rain on the way home. It’s really needed, lots of stressed trees starting to turn colors.

    Shot an 86 today. Putted well, 29 putts. If I could hit an ‘effin iron, I think I could consistently play in the mid-80s. It’s so frustrating.

    I've wanted to play Bretwood but have never got around to it. Report back when you do. Played here a couple of weeks ago. Neshobe Golf Club They just hosted the New England Amateur. It had been quite a few years but I really enjoyed it. I broke 90 too so that's always a bonus.

    AQI is 158, not quite as bad as dendrite. It has hazed up the sky though.

    You must not be at home in Stowe. I was thinking the same as DIT. You can smell it up here.

    I was thinking of you when I drove through Naples on Monday. The waves were pretty big on Long Lake. I'm guessing 2'-3', though I'm not a boater so I don't have a great grasp on estimating wave height. I just know that it looked like it would have been a rough day out on the water.

    The low was 46° yesterday and 47° today. Beautiful sleeping weather.

    I was surprised at how well he performed and by the time Sabbath was playing Paranoid, they were absolutely rolling. Geezer was wailing and even Bill Ward was holding his own.
