  1. Honestly, it seems like the fall line (ish) was the changeover since it was snow TV until getting off the GW Parkway. I live just east of the fall line on the border of Arlington/Alexandria and its mostly rain (with some sleet/snow mixing in that I can hear against the window now). It snowed the entire drive home (heaviest in Garrett and Allegany counties)...it was just starting to accumulate on I-68 in Garrett County as we left around noon but other than that, 68/70/270 were just wet. Not much accumulation on the ground after Allegany county. I stopped for gas in Meyersville and it was moderate snow, car thermometer said 34 degrees, and it had just started to accumulate on mulch/grass there. How is it out by you? I hope you guys do well.
  2. Left a winter wonderland in McHenry with heavy snow and 27 degrees. Got home to rain and 37 degrees.
  3. 26 and SN. Fluffy dendrites. Best rates and flake size all morning.
  4. 26 with SN-. About 0.5” of new snow.
  5. Painful to leave McHenry tomorrow morning. 6-10” on the P&C forecast. 33/rain at home in Arlington likely. I’d stay here and work remotely Monday but unfortunately have meetings Monday AM in person. Ugh.
  6. Looks like the fall line is setting up to be the battleground.
  7. Wow is right. I think the 50/50 is key this run too.
  8. Driving up tonight since we’re hosting a handful of friends for the weekend for skiing/etc. If Sunday/Monday is legit there, I’ll probably stay til Monday.
  9. We do 34 degree rain better than anyone.
  10. 32. A light glaze on branches as expected. Drip drip drip otherwise.
  11. HRDPS and RGEM scored a coup. Euro busted for sure.
  12. Ping ping ping against the window. I love a good sleet storm.
  13. Rates and flake size picking up here again. Great storm so far.
  14. Enjoy it man...hope the flakes start flying soon for you (beyond the ones in here).
  15. I can’t believe you have 3.75” of rain so far.
  16. Even in the lighter band, still have dendrites so snow growth still good upstairs. Love to track a dendrite as it gently falls from the sky (leesburg04 shoutout).
  17. Looks really pretty outside. HERPADERPS may just score a coup.
