Enjoy your 3-5”. If some models were showing a shutout then I’d be concerned of a fail. It seems 2” would be our low bar which considering where we were a week ago, I’ll happily take even that.

Latest WPC forecast. Very reasonable and a good kick off to the pattern change.

FV3 0.25” just north of the M/D line and 0.5” covers all of NOVA and is north of DC into MoCo.

Yep, honestly Euro is WSW-level snowfall for all of NOVA and DC. One more bump and MD gets into the 0.5” too.

Nov overperformed for me but the last few years have been unkind to DC/NOVA relative to the rest of the area. Hopefully the max stripe is over NOVA/DC when all is said and done.

Deep winter look in McHenry. Currently 17 degrees with 6” of very fluffy snow on the ground. This look headed your way DC/NOVA in 24 hours.
