Tough for me to buy these big amounts closer to BOS. I feel like euro op is way to go. Maybe I'll be wrong, but has the look of dry air eating away at a lot of this precip NW of like GHG-PVD give or take.

It is, yes. Cutoffs are notoriously handled with difficulty on models. Tough to assimilate what is happening well offshore.

Like 2” even for you. It has the classic land/sea convergence zone that PF loves to point out. I’m sure it’s overdone, but that is a usual jack in these setups, south of Boston.

I think this is bordering a bit anomalous for this time of year. Gust near 50 oR more are not really common this early. I’d say this is a pretty good event for at least ern and SE areas. Not trying to play geographical favorites, just saying.
