    I think there was definitely a language barrier, but I guess I’m surprised there wasn’t more intensity in their voices on that recording. They knew they couldn’t make it to JFK second time around. The GOVT had to settle with the families of passengers along with the airline. The blame was all around.

    I just researched that. They are one of our customers too. WTF....that was a bizarre incident. They were running out of fuel and were no big deal about it. I heard the ATC recording.

    It won't. They already went there with testing equipment and could not find a significant error. But clearly the evidence points to something being off.

    Yeah that’s almost as bad as 7” in a snow squall.

    Yeah that video certainly is not 7”/hr. We had times where we approached 5 or maybe even more last March briefly in some of the most intense snow rates I’ve ever seen and it was near zero vis.

    That video is unimpressive and looks nothing close to 7”/hr. That would be complete and utter no visibility. That is nothing close to that.
