  1. It went from dead grass to lush green in a month here. It’s like Mother Nature knew to get this place back in the rain forest it normally is in summer. There is standing water all over.
  2. Euro had winds more 210 too Sunday aftn. So, what you may lose from actual temps, you may gain in dewpoints.
  3. My hydrangea exploded this year. Tons of blooms after 3 years of very little blooms. Maybe it just needed a few years to mature.
  4. While we are at it regarding ASOS. Summer Kev = KORHtemp +3F Winter Kev = KORHtemp -3F
  5. About .16 here. We droughtstein. Lawn browning.
  6. Sunday, sweaty Sunday on the Euro.
  7. Give me a nice AN snowfall winter. If I get 18” and someone gets 25” in a storm, I’ll live.
  8. That was when you mentioned talking to the mtn, saying "I know you are doing your job with orographics...I know you are..it's just not happening this year."
  9. It was bad especially in the temp department, but locally for snowfall it was near normal. We had two snow events in April that saved it. I know it’s April, but the second snow event was powder...even during the day. This last winter was my first real shit winter since 11-12. 15-16 was pretty bad iirc in nrn MA and into Srn NH relative to normal.
  10. Beautiful blue skies, birds chirping, sun shining.....sure is nice. What clouds?
  11. Yeah this is nice. Demons whispering to me on my shoulder. COC on one side, Kevin's bald head on the other.
  12. 56.8 so far for the low. I’m not sure I’ve been that cool since I’ve lived here in mid July. Maybe a few other times were close.
  13. Maybe verbally. Kevin sure as hell physically ain't kicking me out.
  14. You don't need dews for storms all the time. Yesterday had dews within a couple of 60F and hail all over because of the cold pool.
  15. That's usually reserved for the big KU events, but even Gloucester is usually too far east for that. That's more cstl north shore in Essex county like Salem/Peabody. Usually winds aloft start turning east and pumping moisture off the water, while winds near and just inland from the coast are north. 1/2/14 was one that was not a classic KU...but they have wind off of 40+ SSTs into air that was barely above 0F. Absolute fluff bomb for Essex county, especially that area near Boxford.
