  1. Oh it’s an issue the NWS knows about. We are going to try and make snow measurements great again for Boston.
  2. 30 for the low. Not stupid cold for once.
  3. If we assume that configuration, I would think the cold is certainly further west.
  4. It’s about the atmospheric response though. Not some sort of index value.
  5. We just can’t afford a more hostile look otherwise it won’t be fun.
  6. Also, I agree with the day four wave. That’s probably a better storm compared to the follow up event that loses the baroclinic zone. However, for many it’s likely just a cold rain.
  7. The good news is that split flow, means usually lots of storms. If you time it right, you can get a blue bomb in the interior.
  8. Yeah not making a call, just a subtle shift in things last few days. It goes along with December thoughts by some as starting out not great. Still looks like interior could time something right if we kept it as is.
  9. It’s not horrible, but not as good as a few days ago. At least as currently depicted.
  10. The 11-15 day is more of a trough in Davis Straits.
  11. Back to a more +NAO look on EPS. Ridge went poof last few days. The Pacific still a little questionable too with a split flow SW US trough possible. Would probably be stormy anyways.
  12. Interior November on the GFS suite of guidance.
  13. Yeah they usually aren't far off. Last year though, yeesh. And he is not far from the water either. For all intents and purpose, the climo in both places is fairly similar. I know you know this, but just speaking to the wider audience. There is no excuse for that difference in snow.
  14. No kidding....lol. It's telling. And the funny thing about this, is that Hingham does it more the traditional once a day I believe, vs every 6 hrs like KBOS should do.
