Avg is like the sum of extremes around here though. SD on either side is fairly high near the coast. But yeah, I get what you mean.

For free, weather.us is pretty good. A little cumbersome to navigate, but I am not aware of a better free site.

14-15? Well around here that likely cannot be topped. It was much tougher west of ORH down to BDL and points west, but that was probably mere luck.

Face plant by the GFS suite is happening. I say this with all honesty....the ECMWF might as well take the job of the meteorologist. The GFS and its ensembles are becoming irrelevant in the weather world.

Not here, but that's to be expected We need some sort of show to come to your property and give you a make over. I honestly think it's a soil thing. Maybe a few inches of loam/compost in the bad areas will do it.
