Pretty nice cold shot after 11/8. Still may get some first flakes if we can time things right.

It was a good event for this time of year. Tough to say since I was sleeping off and on, but solid gusts in the 50s at least anyways. Luckily we have man trees so hopefully not much happened.

That one you had to be near mesolow. TAN was just west of that. Not a lot of stuff in NE MA this go around. Seemed like it was more pike south. ORH did well though 49kts.

You also had 60-85mph in areas near the coast. That was intense. I think even BED was near 50kts in that one.

This was a good HWW event. Many gusts 45-51kts or so all over.

Lots of gusts near 50kts, but nothing like a couple of weeks ago.

After I sent that tweet out, someone said it was due to wind. If that was the case, why were most of those places in nrn MA and SNH? It started trending drier even up there. Given that usually these warm sectors are fairly clean well ahead of the front, it wouldn’t be a leap to figure that out, if you were familiar with these patterns.

I just looked and it's +1 right now. That looks better than 0.5 or whatever it was earlier. PVD is 1.5 so it looks more realistic. BOS still is LOL.

HRRR 10m gust output is rather alarming later on tonight.

What's driving those departures is really the lack of cold shots and cool nights. No real torch days, just near to above normal. All cold out west.

I'd like to see some other areas near ORH at 1K. I'm not sold on ORH being totally accurate, but I would need evidence. There's definitely evidence with BOS.

Yeah those years Will. Shit 91 was brutal. I know wind was on the minds of some who cancelled, but all those towns that cancelled aren’t really getting any wind tomorrow lol. That’s a rain threat there.
