    You can’t judge your local temps from the Logan peninsula. If you combine all other stations and COOPs, it’s been top 5 to number 1.

    I’m trolling, but it’s been constant warmth with some pretty hot days mingled in. Gotta respect that. It’s been dam warm.

    Probably would need good soil to maximize growth. What is that like around your area?

    I guess for me if I wanted shade, it would have to be something where I can get a benefit sooner rather than later. Since it takes 20-30yrs for a tree to get close to doing that...I think some dogwoods, crab apples..etc would look nice. You are rather open, so I understand wanting shade.

    You could put a few nice flowering trees. I don't see the value in getting a big ass tree there given the neighborhood character.

    Oh it will...lol. Not looking forward to it. The only way it could be better is a hell of a snowy winter.

    For the first time ever, I'm not really looking forward to winter. Just too many complications with COVID. The warm weather allows for lots more options. So I am here for torch and swamp UFN.
