  1. 11 days for a TS. Man if we get a cane here...good lord.
  2. We had a meeting yesterday and actually most of the reactions from parents were to not have kids go to school. Weymouth is a pretty big school system and I think many feel safer to not have their kids go in. And yeah...agree with the hazard pay. That's ridiculous.
  3. I see a hairy Italian from Moosup in there.
  4. Around here, you'd have a better chance finding a hermit in there..lol.
  5. Well one stroke of luck I guess.....a neighbor down the road had a dumpster in his driveway which normally would be his car. Massive Norway snapped and fell over the dumpster....lol.
  6. That has been stressful for us parents. My wife is a bag of nerves.
  7. I know in TX it is still increasing. I don't think it's all about the deaths...but all the effects again like shutting more things down. All of it could have been slowed too, but of course humans are dumb and politicize everything. I can't wait until aliens invade...or maybe they see how dumb we are and completely avoid us.
  8. Avg near 4" of rain each month. Recent summers locally have been dry. The Cape is feast or famine. They are prone to heavy rain events too.
  9. Branches are easy though. LOL.
  10. Next street over has multiple trees down. Funny how that happens. Luckily just a messy yard here and that's about it. All Norway maples too, so eff them.
  11. might get a little rain Friday. We pray.
  12. Those are great. My folks have one. Hooked right into the nat gas. Goes on immediately.
  13. That is a very small pressure change though. You would see something more notable in a true G wave.
  14. My neighbors are posting tree pics so some damage around. Luckily just some branches in my yard.
  15. Was more convective in nature, I think. GHG was 55kts. Logan 46kts. But ironically I think weaker winds were near the Cape, opposite Irene.
  16. And from a TS lol. Imagine even a strong cat 1 into BDR. Winds 50-55kts mostly too.
  17. Maybe because it was localized, but it got close to last year. House shook and that’s when damage happened. Sounded worse to my SE. The heavy rain and wind won’t be forgotten. That was awesome.
  18. See worst is prior to and during. This isn’t bad here. We had some damage during that.
  19. Early April event was taking off my roof. But this was good. At least locally. Was convective so some areas did well and others no. Last October was way worse. We moved our kids from their bedrooms. Sounds like PYM county did well.
  20. 50G60. Wait until a real cane comes.
  21. Sounds like Kevin’s area got hit hard. Probably not used to big winds, but I bet he was near 60. His wife is stuck and had to head back to her school.
