    The guys here are pretty good. In the damage capitol of Plymouth county, they are out in full force after the storm. Half the town of Norwell just to my SE lost power and almost all back I think. That’s a heavily forested town too.

    Sounds like they did not preposition which is what I mentioned earlier. These guys will prep and usually call other utilities to help. Maybe that didn’t happen. Either they did not believe the forecasts, or they did not get a good forecast from their provider.

    Isn’t the town supposed to clear up the trees? We had that town come in and take a bunch of trees out today in the hood.

    Yeah I'm not even sure we had a shower from Gloria. Just a big wind bag.

    Yep. I was stunned at the damage on the Cape when we went back there like two weeks later. Not to mention the trees left were all bare from the salt water spray. Really strange to see.

    I was disappointed in Bob where I was in Brockton. I know why, but I thought Gloria was worse. Obviously different past Plymouth and the Cape.

    Well we know that won't happen...lol. I'm just thinking about the low wage jobs. If I paid a few more bucks on groceries and goods..it wouldn't bother me.

    If you told me that goods or whatever will go up 5% in order to help all those workers increase pay...I would have zero issues with it. I have to think a majority of the population would not mind either.

    I mean many summers have aftn storms. But honestly the last several years have been ridge of death with every s/w bouncing off and shooting into Quebec. I blame Tip.

    11 days for a TS. Man if we get a cane here...good lord.

    We had a meeting yesterday and actually most of the reactions from parents were to not have kids go to school. Weymouth is a pretty big school system and I think many feel safer to not have their kids go in. And yeah...agree with the hazard pay. That's ridiculous.

    Well one stroke of luck I guess.....a neighbor down the road had a dumpster in his driveway which normally would be his car. Massive Norway snapped and fell over the dumpster....lol.
