    My high was 78.7. Ocean ftw. I have some time off heading into Labor Day so I’ll take a torch then, but Scooter is getting old with this. I had my fun.

    NE breeze today. Actually feels nice.

    We should have some cool shots as the back gets broken. It will certainly be warm to humid at times, but the ridging in the Davis Straits and out west will try to bring in shots of cooler air. It does look like we may have another run at warmer weather again at the end of the month into early September.

    Tough to green. This is as bad as I've ever seen things in all my life. The lawn is probably not repairable in many spots. At this point, just trying to save the plants/shrubs.

    I find it amusing and enjoy in a sick way, watching his optimism get dashed by met pig piles during shitty winters. It's become fun to do.

    Funny thing is that it could be fairly snowy for you. Oranges at 500mb with your location aren't a bad thing. Even here, it was Bengal Tigers and Parakeets at 500mb in December 2007 and we got lit. It would help to have a big confluence area well to our NE...almost like a massive +NAO on roids with the dateline ridging.

    El torcho. Not sure I can recall when ORH led in + departures. I think it shows you the lack of these good cold fronts of yore.

    An area of mulch that is 2’X2’ won’t affect dews.

    I put mine on a post, but just keep grass under it. All I did was reseed a bit around where I dug. Mulch could locally cause some slight warming on a calm day.

    There is definitely a signal for fropas here. It will likely average AN, but you’re seeing fronts make a deeper push south.
