  1. I agree, such an underrated storm. Some of the heaviest (maybe heaviest) I've ever seen. Those shades of orange crossed my hood and I was thinking it may be glop or a pellet mixed in. Nope, was absolutely choking flakes. It was a bit wetter than what Will had, but we had 16.5".
  2. Yeah. We violence. Been a lot of those 70-90+mph deals. Snagged this shot of a Jeep in a sink hole with a massive wave in the background.
  3. 4 year anny of one of the most damaging nor’easters we’ve seen in recent times. It didn’t have much snow in New England, it buried the Catskills. However it had some of the most intense winds I’ve seen, and really tore into SE MA, especially Plymouth county. Many homes raised and rebuilt after the no name storm had damage for the first time. Power out for days.
  4. Ensembles still seem warm. I dunno, still looks like dung to me.
  5. It's certainly possible. That 10-20ish window is it so somewhere in that timeframe we hope for something. Although EPS tries for a little +PNA and ridging poking into Greenland towards the end.
  6. Oh yeah the tulip tweets in early February about winter being over. LOL.
  7. I hope man. Gotta get you guys over to Ray some love. The WOR too.
  8. LOL. We’ve had the dice roll lucky at times. I’m well aware. I actually enjoy the region wide storms much more on this forum. It sucks when people miss out.
  9. What if you got 3’ and I got 2’. Would you point the nukes away from me?
  10. It's coming, even having educated guesses with risk assessments is as good as any. If you have the technical background which sounds like you do as a DB software engineer....you'll find something. Good luck man.
  11. I would come home sometimes ready to skull **** someone lol. Effing traffic in Boston was brutal. Still is.
  12. I was drowning through the summer. It was not easy, and I still struggle learning remotely at times. But I've learned to say **** it and ask questions. I don't care if I look dumb. I only know what I know.
  13. It's been tenacious here, even in my sun drenched yard. Man pack ftw. Would be nice to get a touch of snow tonight, but whatever is left will lock up into the weekend like a brick. The rain last night just added more meat.
  14. Ha, I was the MIC there for about 6 years in aviation. I still am with the company (who was bought out by IBM my new employer), but in more of a customer success role. So weather related in terms of solutions, but not forecasting directly. It's most certainly different lol. I miss the weather stuff too. But the office is going back in as well and I may do so for at least a day...more or less to see some old friends there. I do miss the office comradery and I agree with Phin and Jerry that round table meetings in person seem way better than webex/zoom etc.
