  1. That is like Aspen Springs in the foothills. Aspen itself was too far west.
  2. It gets drawn in pretty quickly in New England. I'll take my chances with Rain to snow with a robust system vs a fleeting flurry from Altostratus.
  3. Run that for the backdoor king. KBOS.
  4. Well after this week, fat lady most certainly is singing. Big black hole over the North Pole and warm heights circling around the mid latitudes.
  5. With a southern low in March? Yeah I wouldn’t sleep on it quite yet. My expectations are low.
  6. 18z eps is more interesting for Friday.
  7. I feel like he’s called in totals at times that seem more than you. But that’s just a subjective take as I haven’t seen actual evidence (I’m not there haha). It was just the vibe I got. But if you think he’s correct, then I’ll defer to you obviously.
  8. I mean that is pound town. Not some 1SM -SN ob from a hilly suburb northeast of Hartford. Real legit S+ Obs.
  9. Been fascinating watching the dynamics. Think that barrier jet convergence working magic. Even to the north it’s rather slotty, but those echoes just hit a wall NE and E of Denver and you have upward VV. Probably some fronto and isentropic lift too, but warm advection isn’t that strong. Also you have steep lapse rates moving in to help get that air accelerating upward.
  10. Gfs looked pretty bad in this. At least from what I saw. Was giving like 50” and try en tried to rain them.
  11. Ha. Yeah airport has a good chance of pulling at least 2’
  12. That dude near you has some hefty totals all the time that seem to be higher than you. You said he's like 1.5 miles away and up a couple hundred feet?
  13. Let’s get a surface high to ruin it.
  14. Yeah sell. Some models have it, but tossing that.
