  1. I think they meant "a few supercells evolving into upscale growth"
  2. It's not so little with all that moisture moving due north
  3. While this video is definitely inconclusive, it's kind of odd how stubborn they are about issuing a TW for this storm. It's been close to the ground on multiple occasions.
  4. First Tornado Warning of the day near Susank KS. The storm to it's west (near Hays) is an absolute beast of a cell and is dropping some huge hail at the very least.
  5. The cell near Hays could really use a TW now. Edit; it looks a bit broader now but from what I'm seeing in Twitter it likely produced a brief tornado.
  6. And the run coming out now (16Z) has quite a few cells across KS later.
  7. 15 percent hatched tornado contour added to the morning update. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day1otlk.html
  8. Embedded rotation near Abbeville, which was hit by a tornado recently Edit; TW now.
  9. Not to derail the discussion, but it's not a new issue with them. Anyways, looks like it was a brief, but intense, spin up.
  10. The debris signature looked very significant on that storm, I wonder is some of it was radar noise due to the proximity to the radar site. If not, it make have produced a fairly substantial tornado. Edit; there's now confirmed damage coming out of that area
  11. The tornado warned storm south of Birmingham has a TDS for quite a few scans already and strong embedded rotation. Wild weather day there.
  12. The debris signature is approaching 2 miles in size, hopefully it's only lofting trees.
  13. Significant CC drop for the cell north of Abbeville.
  14. Very large debris signature now, it's definitely tearing something up.
  15. Rotation is still very evident but not as strong asbit was just west of them, hopefully they dodged a bullet but it's hard to tell.
  16. Looks really bad on the last velocity scans, hopefully it lifts.
  17. TDS is back on that storm as it approaches Tupelo. It might pass to their west but looking at Google Maps I'm not sure that's much better. Edit; ninja'd by janetjanet998
  18. Huge CC drop with this one, though at least it isn't in a populated area.
