Never experienced anything remotely close to it in my 60+ years!

So I’ve heard... Two biggest issues are the 9 mile (one way in/one way out) dense forest road leading to our place, most of which is dirt with several steep hills, and, moreover, no running water once we blow out plumbing to protect against freeze up since house sits on pilings! With my cameras and Tempest weather station, I’ll, at least, be able to post observations and rough snow accumulations!

Got a pretty good cast iron LP but even last April we woke up to 44° in the “camp”! Knowing that a Gulph of Maine nor’easter will no doubt tempt me for a 10 hour road trip north! Good luck with your search...Nothing like the scenery/serenity up this way!

Wish we could...Besides the 6 month on/6 months off “deal” with my wife, we have to shut the plumbing down and the road in doesn’t get plowed down our way, and with all the tall pines, the risk of getting stranded is higher than she wants to deal with...I’ll have to “live it” via my cameras...Hopefully one upcoming winter we’ll “bend the rules”!?!

Heading home a week from today after arriving mid-April ...It’s been everything and more than my wife and I expected! Solar, Elon Musk’s Starlink Internet, Tempest and Blink cameras installed ready for some winter weather remote viewing! Just south of last night’s aurora borealis but we did have this beautiful Sundog this evening (just left of center)‼️

Pretty crazy as the back yard gets a good dose of southern sun... Picked the right house in the right location when we moved up here in late 2018... Every other home I’ve ever owned was ALWAYS the first to melt which always pissed me off‼️

Still nearly 100% snow coverage here!

Couldn’t believe how much less snow was around today as I trekked from my home in Buckingham south on 202 toward Montgomeryville and then up lower state road/limekiln pike into Horsham‼️

REALLY⁉️ BUCKINGHAM, PA: Hi 45° low 32° With anywhere from 3 - 5” of snow cover on 100% of the lawn (even south side)...Very impressive to say the least!

Over the years, I continue to laugh about how alike so many of us are, not just with our curious love for snow but also in regards to: • the huger the snowpiles the better • “anal” perfection with our shoveling/snow pile making • “Don’t EVEN think about walking across my pristine snow-covered lawn!” • creative snow-light setups and snow-depth measuring devices • what have I missed⁉️ Thanks all for making me feel just a bit more normal and a little less neurotic‼️
