  1. Well that was a dud. When I woke up and heard pinging at 3 am I knew it was over. On to sping.
  2. Yeah it should. Hopefully no later than midnight or so for more than a crusty 2’’.
  3. Looks like that sleet line is hanging tough north of MHT. Good luck to the weenies staying up for this.
  4. Heavier echoes about to move in. See if it flips within the hour.
  5. Road is covered here as well but I think it's just an icy sleet coating. Don't think we've started mixing with flakes yet.
  6. Interesting dude but a very, very good met. Interned with his group at the Boston air traffic control center my senior year of college.
  7. Can hear the pings. HRRR starts to get violent around 03-04z. Going to need a changeover around that point to get closer to warning criteria paste.
  8. NAM is a scalping to a crusty inch or two here. Meh.
  9. Just brings the whole grid down. Some of these convection allowing mesos are nuts.
  10. Gut says like 3-5’’ of total cement but there’s definitely an argument for a higher end wet snow event. Might get shotgun blasts with GFS or HRRR solution.
  11. Haven't paid much attention to this until now but man that's kind of a deck destroying look on a lot of guidance.
  12. Looks like almost 2’’ here. Morch sun angle no match for these rates.
  13. Wasn't alive for 1978 but that's how I feel about October 2011 and why it's my favorite "winter" event of all time. The impacts and rarity are unlike any snow event I've experienced since. January 2015 blitz is a close second, especially since it coincided with senior year meteorology classes. Everything else kind of blends in.
  14. Is what it is. Overall depth is still pretty impressive.
  15. I think MHT through like the Peterborough and Jaffrey areas may be the local max since they got into a bit of a deformation band this morning. We never really got into anything significant after I woke up around 7.
  16. Can confirm not buried and it stopped snowing around 4. I didn't measure but went for a walk and I'm guessing somewhere around 7-8''.
  17. Back to flurries. HRRR had one last fronto band pivoting through over the next few hours but I think we may be done.
  18. Possibly the best snow of the day. Too bad it looks very shortlived.
  19. You truly deserve to melt out of anyone here. That sucks.
  20. Not staffed 24/7 so probably missed a couple measurements.
  21. Snowing downwards instead of upwards in this ML fronto band finally. Too bad it's pulverized baking soda.
  22. Could be wrong but I think that came from the CWSU at the Boston ARTCC. I absolutely believe that 30''+ or whatever it was.
  23. I envy this almost as much as I do RI and SEMA.
  24. Subsidence zone filled in but it's pointless arctic sand.
