  1. I have no idea what to think up here. We’re going to miss it on the meat of CCB for sure, but does look like we’re in a decent spot to be deformed. Could be 20’’ if we rot under a fronto band, could be 9’’ if we smoke exhaust all day. Think I’d tell people 12-18’’ but it’s very uncertain. Jealous of SEMA either way. That wind and fire hose is going to be special.
  2. At least this was never really "our" storm with a big rug pull at the end like you describe or like the Boxing Day boning. I have little doubt that it won't top last month's for totals around here, but if we can get into a fronto band or two it could still be a lot of fun.
  3. Can someone remind me what the deal is with January 2022?
  4. I understand keeping it conservative at this lead time, but still that’s warning snows and likely a high impact event for some of the CWA and not even a watch yet. Just strikes me as odd.
  5. I’m not one to criticize NWS but GYX seems a little slow with the headlines especially for Hillsborough and Rockingham. WSW and Blizzard Warnings already just over the border.
  6. Yeah that move due east off the Delmarva vs. a more northeasterly track south of LI isn't ideal.
  7. I don’t know. Think we’re in a good spot to catch some ML goodies as it stands.
  8. Nasty rimed flakes with the occasional parachute. I’ll be pretty surprised if we touch 4’’.
  9. Some rimed flakes mixing in with the better dendrites here. Radar looks like crap as expected.
  10. First weenie flakes just starting now.
  11. Give me 50s and sun over 4-6'' of crusty snow/sleet. Over it.
  12. Sounds like we might be mixing with a little IP or snow grains.
  13. Pounding fluff now at the end. Probably ~3'' new.
  14. Eh I still think today looks decent for a general 1-4’’ especially across eastern areas. Maybe even a spot 5.
  15. 15’’ compacted on the deck so the ending must have been pretty good! I take back the meh.
  16. Still baking powder. Maybe that burst out by Springfield will usher in some better growth and another inch or two to finish. Bad snow growth just irritates me more than anything.
  17. ~12.5’’ new. Rates have let up a bit. Looks like we get one more burst then maybe the stuff in W MA then the dryslot races in. Great region-wide storm but somewhat disappointing up this way if we end with like 13-14’’ tonight. Don’t think tomorrow is much more than 1-3’’. Had the rates but got killed by shitty snowgrowth.
