  1. They just might. I was contacted yesterday by a company that can offer me a day shift position with an automatic truck, which I need due to a bad shoulder. My past history is that whenever I start a new job, we get major storm(s).
  2. Sir....please let go of the mouse and slowly walk away from the computer...
  3. Hopefully not me. Please keep it out of the Skook. I'm pretty much done with winter (along with a lot of other things in life) right now. I'm in a pretty dark place with not much hope of getting out of it.
  4. Yeah, I suppose it would be a cool vacation trip to see something like that in person. His videos are fascinating to watch! I just know that there's no way I could ever live there.
  5. Yes. Sandy was quite benign in my immediate backyard.
  6. Wind? I'll be lucky to get a gust over 25 mph. I don't know if my stations anemometer is wrong/broken, or if it really is the fact that I'm boxed in by 400ft hills in close proximity to my house.
  7. I didn't even get to 40. 38.5 was my high. Was supposed to be 47.
  8. 37.0 right now, which is also the daily high...so far.
  9. Not as whipped as me. I returned to PA when I really wanted to stay in AZ...
  10. Yes, the wind is definitely going to be a problem. We've had an ongoing wind/tree problem here all winter. In fact, one event bit me in the ass back in early January. I was coming off the Blue Mountain northbound and as I rounded a bend in the road, a tree had fallen and lowered the wires that crossed over 309. Lucky me. I was the first tractor trailer there, and I caught those low wires with the trailer and snapped a telephone pole and brought every wire completely down across the road, and caused a royal mess. Cops took the report, said it wasn't my fault, and sent me on my way, but it tied up traffic there for over half a day.
  11. Just a mere 15 minutes after I made that post, we flipped to sleet, and now have freezing drizzle. Temp up one to 29.
  12. Just measured. 1.5" here. All snow still. Temp 28
  13. Out to 105 and it doesn't look good north of the PA/MD border.
  14. Temp is up 3 from this morning, but the dewpoint hasn't budged. It's been 15 all morning.
  15. I just heard about the wind. Possibly 60+ mph?
  16. I've been noticing that while perusing the varius models, plus your mentioning it. NWS is still on for what looks to be possibly 2-4, but they now bumped up the ice potential from less than 0.1" to 0.1" to 0.2"
  17. It was quite the interesting night on PA309 over the Blue Mountain. Last night's winds brought trees and wires down some on top of cars which shut it down for a number of hours. After it re-opened, a heavy snow squall blew through dropping about 2 inches, which caused the road to ice up, which of course caused a number of trucks to get stuck and/or jackknife, which of course closed it back down again.
  18. Only 15 mph here in my ultra protected location.
  19. CTP bumped me up from 1-3 to 2-4 for Saturday. Saturday Snow, mainly after 1pm. High near 32. Calm wind becoming southeast around 6 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
  20. A month and a half in, and 2025 sucks major balls, and not just because of the weather.
