  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but on the current and future radar loop, it looks like the heaviest rain will fall north of the flood watch zone.
  2. Yikes. Still, the weather geek in me wishes that threat was up to I-80 instead of US-30. I've got the video cameras out, so it would make an interesting finish to my work night and video
  3. Working, so not much chance to hunt it down. Cliff notes, or a link?
  4. I found one awhile back, but I forgot to bookmark it, so I don't remember what site it was from.
  5. Well, THIS caught me off guard this morning.... Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 11pm, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 11pm and 2am, then showers after 2am. Low around 53. Light north wind. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
  6. I'm sure someone out there has had more rain than me this month. They're probably just not on the forum.
  7. Event total was 0.47". Tomorrow and Saturday SHOULD put me over 11 inches for the month as I sit right now at 10.85".
  8. Up to 0.29" now in my backyard. We now have a rain gauge at out water loading facility, and that one shows 0.30" so pretty even rainfall across my immediate region.
  9. I said to the wife this morning that we do extremes quite well here. Told her that once the pattern flips we'll probably go extended dry and warm/hot. Not that I'm complaining about it. Just that it probably happens...
  10. And just like that......it's raining.
  11. Slow mover was an understatement. It's 6:15am Wednesday morning and the rain hasn't gotten to Tamaqua yet.
  12. I was at that game, too. I saw the rainbows, but missed the funnel.
  13. Looks like it's going to stay along and south of I-78 and I'm in Hazleton so I might stay dry Tomorrow's another story, though...
  14. Just keep it out there for about 3 more hours. I still have one load yet to pick up and deliver.
  15. Got quite warm today. Currently 75 degrees in Tamaqua, and up here in normally colder Hazleton where I'm delivering today.
  16. Yup. Snedeker on WNEP showed a coastal low riding up on Saturday that would wash out most of the weekend. The NWS on the other hand shows some showers on Saturday and a decent Sunday.
  17. I need 80 minimum air temp to get in the water.
  18. If I had a pool and wanted to go swimming, I'd want it warmer, but for regular picnic purposes, this IS perfection. And what a chamber of commerce sky it is today with the puffy, fair weather clouds.
  19. Second coldest Memorial Day morning I can remember. 40.3 degrees.
  20. Make sure you "try them out" in the store before you buy one.
  21. 46 now, but sometime after midnight I dipped down to 41.
  22. Just cracked the ten inch mark for the month of May. 10.03" to be exact as of 1:10pm on 5/22.
