  1. And this is part of why it got so chilly. Talk about dry air. It was perfect conditions for some insane radiational cooling. The humidity just after sunset was 2% and the dewpoint was -8.
  2. I get up, get my morning coffee, go sit outside on the patio, and was shocked at how chilly it felt. Looked at the two closest PW stations, and holy crap... It's 58 degrees...in late June...in Phoenix, AZ!
  3. That Texas heat is coming here next week. 110+ beginning on Monday.
  4. Ah, screw it. Here's the Phoenix west valley post-peak heating at 5:30pm.
  5. Just a randumb thought this afternoon. Our last rain here in AZ was on March 21st. That means we went the entire astronomical Spring season without a drop of rain...
  6. Yup. For now. In a month and a half I have to choose between staying with the trucking company on a different account, or staying on the dedicated account with a different trucking company as we were underbid and are losing the account.
  7. I was looking at historical stats for the station two blocks from my house in Sun City. The last time it rained here was on March 21st.
  8. That's pretty cool. It's not often that Tamaqua jackpots.
  9. Well it was the winter without cold. You expected different?
  10. Those temps are higher than my forecast for the same time frame.
  11. Randumb thought of the day. The Tornadoes would be a great name for a football team.
  12. I'm sorry...lol As for before 11am, no. It started right around 1pm per the graph for the day. The full onslaught started around 4pm, though.
  13. That map is way wrong. Mine was not the only station in Eastern Schuylkill at 4+ inches yeaterday, yet they only show 1.50 to 1.75.
  14. So it looks like 5.30" is going to be the total tally as the rain shield has pushed east of Tamaqua.
  15. Perhaps. I've been watching the qauge, and it's up another inch. I've no doubt Tamaqua meets or exceeds 5". I'll post a final once the rain moves out. There HAS to be some crazy runoff/street flooding with the rate it's been dumping.
  16. Got another inch since my last post. Check out the rate when I snapped the screenshot.
  17. My daughter just sent me a pic from Tamaqua. After about 3 blocks, things start to disappear.
  18. It keeps going up. I wonder if it'll reach 500...
  19. My daughter told me the air quality index in Tamaqua is currently 361.
