  1. And of course the cold retreats fast and it’s borderline . Thread the needle once again. Also a 300 mile shift north from 00z so it’s a meaningless run.
  2. Seriously we might need one for us snow starved CT weenies .
  3. A snow squall threat from 3-7pm may be our most interesting event of the boring season for CT.
  4. Feb 2021 was the last great pack. It doesn’t happen often but there is always hope for one. The hope for one is gone by 2/15.
  5. What was the pattern flip that made Feb ‘21 so great ? I had 39” that month. Also had 25” Jan ‘22. So those big months helped otherwise bad seasons.
  6. Just give me some stripes on my green grass and dews, IPA’s then a dip in the pool . I’m over this winter. We are quickly passing any potential of pack season, and now need a biggie to keep this from being a complete ratter.
  7. We had solid snow cover, here’s a pic from that morning. We had 2 snow events of 3-6” that week.
  8. GEFS with a definitive north trend last several runs into northern New England for the Feb 1-2 threat.
  9. Taking a closer look our heavy rain is forecast to be blossoming over Eastern PA as we speak.. don’t see it as advertised yet probably just delayed a bit I’ll check back around 6.
  10. Latest guidance really hitting the wind hard for south coast with some burst of heavy rain and temps 50-55.
  11. Took an hour Power Nap in between bands. And it all fell apart. Snowed hard for 20 minutes .4” storm total. The pathetic winter of 22/23 continues 0.8” total for January.
  12. Officially nothing more than a few flakes on actual roads, driveway coated briefly for about 5 min. Snow stopped a few minutes after that pic, everything melting quickly now. Looks like school buses would have been fine in southern CT unless the next batch beefs up and moves in quick.
  13. Well I’ve had my KU for 2023. .4” everything is white saw heavy snow for 20-30 min . And temp dropped to 32.4 from 37.5. Nice. Awaiting the next batch now.
  14. I’m going to worry til me and you both get a snowstorm. I posted GEFS they are talking about eps ..
  15. Exactly what I’m thinking may just shut off for a few min, These echoes over me are great. Hopefully those over jersey are been better.
  16. Whitening up quick. 33.5. Moderate snow. Looks like peak snow is 4-6pm before we get into the 50s later with 2” of rain.
  17. It’s sticking on roads in SE NY just west of ct so it’ll stick here.. there’s a lot of elevation around here relatively speaking to the surrounding valleys
  18. Well the torch is now in sight… just as I feared last week Jan 25-31 temps well above average.. then we turn colder feb 1-8 and need to cash in before this pattern depicted kicks in..
