  1. Officially nothing more than a few flakes on actual roads, driveway coated briefly for about 5 min. Snow stopped a few minutes after that pic, everything melting quickly now. Looks like school buses would have been fine in southern CT unless the next batch beefs up and moves in quick.
  2. Well I’ve had my KU for 2023. .4” everything is white saw heavy snow for 20-30 min . And temp dropped to 32.4 from 37.5. Nice. Awaiting the next batch now.
  3. I’m going to worry til me and you both get a snowstorm. I posted GEFS they are talking about eps ..
  4. Exactly what I’m thinking may just shut off for a few min, These echoes over me are great. Hopefully those over jersey are been better.
  5. Whitening up quick. 33.5. Moderate snow. Looks like peak snow is 4-6pm before we get into the 50s later with 2” of rain.
  6. It’s sticking on roads in SE NY just west of ct so it’ll stick here.. there’s a lot of elevation around here relatively speaking to the surrounding valleys
  7. Well the torch is now in sight… just as I feared last week Jan 25-31 temps well above average.. then we turn colder feb 1-8 and need to cash in before this pattern depicted kicks in..
  8. Steady snow temp drop to 35.9. I think it was a good call for some towns in interior SWCT to let out. Roads may become slick from 330-430 when buses let out.
  9. Exactly it’s always the off hour runs. If you want your digital snow fix look at a storm vista 18z gfs snow map.
  10. Reading reports that they got a bit of wet snowflakes in mid town which quickly turned to rain.
  11. It’s all we got this will be my biggest storm of January 100% so going to enjoy it lol sledding snow basketball and all. All we need is .4” ..
  12. Mount holly radar impressive some heavy snow in extreme eastern PA. Snow breaking out in the NYC burbs
  13. Around an inch of snow at the wrong time on roads could be a disaster up there.
  14. Looks like rays first call. Gonna need a bigger wagon to go north.
  15. Ya not getting the 2-5” treats down here has made us very impatient down south. Let’s see what happens.
  16. We will break it soon with a land falling January Hurricane. Or training severe storms. I’m sure Tip can muster up something for us.
  17. 33/34” isn’t bad for Long Island. More than a lot of immediate ct shore
  18. Thinking lower end of this will verify. If the lower end does verify 99% of CTs population will endure their least snowy January ever. Congrats. Kinda excited for MJO and Brooklyn on their potential for a record in futility if they don’t get .1” tomorrow. We rat on! Enjoy up North!
  19. 4 of last 5 Januarys here have had 4” or less.
  20. Wild January stats from my weather station. The coldest high temperature was 34 degrees this month. A whopping 17/24 days had a high of 40+ and only 7/24 days made it into the 20s at night. 5.78” of rain .4” of snow.
