I have a question, wasn't sure where to ask:
How long would we need to sustain this kind of cold to see the Bay freeze over completely? Is it in the cards? That's something I've always wanted to see.
Sorry to interrupt the regularly scheduled thread.
Does anyone else get the urge to cook way more than needed during these kind of storms?
in the last 24 hours I’ve made a gigantic batch of both chicken noodle soup and this mid century inherited recipe called “beer meatballs” which are super tasty. Plus a gigantic brunch this morning. Tomorrow morning I’m making my fluffy biscuits. Lol, we could eat all this shit for a month!
Still 28 here in Rockville. That is one crazy temp gradient.
I simply am flabbergasted at this much sleet. If we couldn’t reel in a January 2016 like storm, this is certainly a super memorable one. I can’t see the suburbs being unsnarled til midweek.
theres a drift from the sleet off my roof that’s almost as tall as my CRV at this point!!
Is the sleet pouring out of anyone else’s gutters and making massive drifts?? This is crazy, I have like 3 foot drift of sleet on my back porch!
I’ve lived here my whole life and I’ve never seen it sleet this hard for this long
Had a nice jebwalk with the dogs. Now got a fireplace fire going and listening to some records while I watch it pile up outside, enjoy the snow everyone!!
My wife and I set up boycottdan.com to pressure corporate sponsors to drop the sexual abuser in charge of the Commanders. If you're so inclined...any email helps.
Well considering what the boomers left us, there’s a lot of editing that needs to be done.
Unironically agree that our cohort is more intelligent and worldly than anyone born before 1982, thanks
I apologize, we haven't had a big snow because right after the 2016 storm we adopted an Alaskan husky (me: "we're a snow town now, babe!").
At this rate I'm hoping we'll get another storm at least approaching that before the dog is dead :X
