  1. All downhill from here? like the temps later this week
  2. I’ll take 18 inches in 12 hours. That be fun, more than 24 in 24. Especially at the start of a good period.
  3. Been a while since a 3footer. Congrats dendrite! Seriously though how would we get that much qpf? Thought it was fast flow and block not in place yet
  4. For Brian, but also in case GYX is interested: Very big differences in close proximity. Got off at exit 19 on 93 and it looked like there had been a sizeable snowfall, consistent with 6-7 " I could tell partially by how much snow had been plowed off the road and how much seemed to be on the ground on top of the existing few inches of sleetpack. Drove up to Knolls Farm Rd towards the east side of Northfield and quickly it was clear there was less snow. Probably 2-3" Drove over to Rt 3 in Tilton to drive towards Franklin. looked like a 3-5" snowfall West side of Franklin near rt 127 looked heavier again 5-6" maybe and that continued to the north part of Boscawen.
  5. Psychologically fascinating response
  6. Is it possible something was converging near the river? Brian is not too far from the Merrimack and neither am I, but we both are on hills. Andover is on a line a bit more for me I think and Danbury on a line directly to Brian given how the streamers were oriented. I am the nw side of Boscawen close to Webster.
  7. the heaviest band sat right over the Belknap/Merrimack line. That makes total sense. I imagine Boscawen town hall and SE Boscawen got way less than man. It looked to me that I was the southern edge of the really heavy stuff...so basically corn hill road in Boscawen up to you. I have a political meeting tonight on Knolls Farm Rd in Northfield so I'll tell you what I see up that way.
  8. totally unable to measure. at least 4 I think. Just based on the visibility and rates for at least 90-120 minutes, I'd have to have 4. But I think it was what you said - very different in different areas. I was watching the bands and they were very narrow...you are on a hill and so am I. Were there any obs from Franklin or even Andover, Salisbury? The last band was about 45 minutes of heavy snow but the band was like a mile wide and 3 miles long. It was on the radar just barely to my n and nw and I was getting slammed. The yellows that went over you were epic and very localized. Essentially lake effect snow. The drifting this morning was substantial.
  9. I like pack but I would be legitimately jealous if missing 60+ with no rain.
  10. Yes I was in heavy snow but the heart of the band was 1-3 miles nw of me
  11. I’m on a hill. Looking wsw the trees are shrouded in a haze while looking ne the sky is clear. The band is curling around me lol
  12. It can’t be more than a mile wide. It’s shocking and now I can’t complain any more
  13. I mean it is absolutely dumping right now. Like 3"/hour white out type snow.
  14. Heavy snow blowing sideways in a band about 2 miles wide. Unreal
  15. Little squall moved in again. Snowing moderately almost heavily. Just a teeny little streamer but potent.
  16. Just like a ween to go out for a drive in a squall. I shoulda figured out something we desperately needed and hit the Hannaford's in Franklin.
  17. Brian is only a few miles NE of me. I probably have 2.5-3. Very persistent streamer on the Belknap-Merrimack line. One thin piece is dropping south towards me, about 2 miles away...I should be seeing a bit more shortly. Curious as to what allowed this to happen - must be a lake connection yes? very rare for here.
  18. Still going looks like a full blizzard. Drifting in my backyard. Did not expect this. Started with a short squall then clearing sky but could see dark clouds to NW. then started and got heavier and heavier like in my pic, then to light- moderate. At one point viz was maybe 1/16. Now light to mod with wind
  19. That would be me. Wow and still snowing but only moderately. Think there might be one more intense batch to come
