  1. Mt. Mansfield, VT set a new all-time record high at 85. That is just incredible at any time, much less in late May!
  2. I don't even understand how I'll be able to help my folks in north Murfreesboro cover everything Friday night. Not just the garden veggies, but annuals, perennials getting ready to bloom, and some crape myrtles that are short enough to cover. I does appear in the longer range ensembles that we'll have a short grace period of spring weather and then comes the torch.
  3. And then Oklahoma 3 days later with another EF-5 and two upper-end EF4s.
  4. This wake low pushed it from roughly 80k back to over 100k.
  5. Nashville escaped the storms, but now a wake low event is raking the metro. 2020 has is out for Davidson County apparently.
  6. Likely tornado in progress north of Carthage.
  7. Max gust at KMQY (Smyrna/Rutherford County) of 53kt.
  8. Max gust at BNA measured at 62kt.
  9. That’s about to be a pretty big problem for the areas hit by the EF3 in March. So many tarps and weakened trees aren’t a good combination. .
  10. Multiple cars damaged and at least 1 semi flipped on I-40 east of Tuckers Crossroads in Wilson County.
  11. The overall synoptic pattern is incredible, but what will make or break is going to be in the short term, such as WF position, junk convection, etc. 27/4/2011 was really tampered back for Middle TN because of consistent rain and convection to the south keeping things much more stable. .
  12. Well, this is highly concerning moving into a highly populated area of southern metro Jax.
  13. Eufaula, AL has had bad luck in March in back-to-back years.
  14. There may be the possibility this tornado was on the ground for some time before warning came out, based on radar presentation leading up to the warning.
  15. Radar confirmed tornado near the MS Gulf Coast in George County near Lucedale. This storm will move into Mobile in about a half hour.
  16. I haven't seen anything on Twitter from any of the local tv affiliates in HSV, and they're always on top of things.
  17. This cell is transiting 3 adjacent office CWAs and the mess of warnings for small slivers of counties has to be a headache to coordinate.
  18. Radar confirmed tornado over Sewanee as it moved up the terrain.
  19. We'll see what happens with the Franklin County, TN cell as it approaches and climbs the Cumberland Plateau just northeast of Winchester.
  20. I'm really surprised BMX hasn't fired a warning for extreme northern Marion County because it is literally on the county line with Franklin that is HSV's responsibility. EDIT: Just as I hit submit, they put out a SVR warn for it at least.
  21. New TOR warning for cell that I mentioned earlier, and it looks mean as hell. It's going to ride the Franklin/Marion County line and headed right towards the 2011 EF-5 ravaged town of Hackleburg.
  22. Tornado confirmed again NE of Littleville, AL.
  23. Storm in northern Itawamba County, MS just northeast of Mantachie is getting its mid-level rotation together pretty quickly as it is in the process of absorbing a heavy shower on the southern flank.
  24. Dollar General store destroyed just barely outside the northern city limit of Tishomingo, MS.
  25. Honestly, this TOR E is probably not warranted at this point given the velocity presentation and it's clear that the CC expanding is debris falling in the forward flank downdraft.
