  1. The healthier you eat the juicier the pharts therefore the more frequent and intense swamp ass episodes... You know thise times you just sit outside and so nothing because it's so nice? Yeah...
  2. It's just wonderful out here right now.
  3. That's inevitable, shoulda just gotten it out of the way.
  4. I mentioned that this morning. There was no way that stuff wasn't getting wrung out at some point. .42 so far, it rained really hard for a little bit and has been steady light rain since. It came down so hard at the beginning that most of it ran off, the roads were "fun".
  5. .35 so far, it's still raining lightly. It rained really hard for a while there, I'm surprised the total is so low. I checked 5 local stations and they're all between .32 and .38.
  6. BaBOOM! and now it's wet. Really wet. And dark.
  7. That's some mighty uncomfortable air out there right now. Feels like the air needs to be wrung out. We gon' get wet later
  8. It's a steamy 78 now with a great misty sunset happening. Yay. Most of the neighborhood stations didn't even register todays rain but it was enough to soak exposed ground, under the trees it stayed dry. I expect that not too far to my NE they got over a quarter inch.
  9. Fantastic event! I'm just lovin' it Ive had rolling, non stop thunder for just about 5 minutes now. I only got a few hundredths of precip but it came down hard. @Juliancolton pointed out a cool feature in the NW thread and it was happening right on top of me. The sea breeze front ran up the east side of the t-storm front that was coming through and sparked a storm at the intersection. It's still rolling NNE of me and the thunder is insane. It's still going HAHA! @forkyfork you would have enjoyed this.
  10. Oh shit, that's what I was watching. To my east it falls off to the Croton River valley so I have a really long view that way. I was watching a line of clouds moving from S to N at a good clip and as it got here a storm popped literally overhead. It moved through already and the thunder is moving northeast as that sea breeze front moves N.
  11. Haha that didn't last. It's raining hard now
  12. ^^ Kind of like keeping things working on my 15 year old supercharged Range Rover. So far I've been able to do almost everything it needs and for the most part the parts aren't any more expensive than most others. Chances are I'll never find such a deal on a $90+k vehicle so I'm putting in some effort. It uses R134a so it can be charged if that's the problem. I think there's an actuator valve not opening somewhere and I'm not smart enough to figure out where it is. This is a nice front blowing through. It's crazy dark N and S of me but bright and almost sunny here. The wind is pretty strong but not a drop has fallen. Temp is down from 97 to 87.
  13. ...and the AC doesn't work in the (used) car I got last fall
  14. So one more dry day, thankfully a wee bit cooler but then some wetness. How wet will we get?
  15. 96 on my street and 98 a few blocks away on a south facing hillside.
  16. The lowest temp on my hill right now is 92. 2 stations are at 96 and one is at 98. I misted the garden twice and it was very appreciative.
  17. My hill was over 90, most stations were at ~92.
  18. 69/69/CLR/0-W1 I got a whopping .02 today and .07 yesterday. Things are wet but not really, 1" down is mostly dry as it's really only the surface but that has it disgustingly humid. By 3pm tomorrow you won't know it was wet today.
