  1. my dad and I were two of them, on the hill after 691 all the trucks got stuck, awful
  2. this one is definitely one of my favorites, and my avatar... nothing tops 78 imho, top 5 are probably 78, Feb 82, Jan 96, March 93, Feb 13... although there are a bunch in there that could be in that list, but in terms of memory, those are my favorite ones...
  3. @The 4 Seasons did you get my total from before? 3.25, or 3.3" to ALY as they don't go out 2 decimal places.
  4. 3.25....about an eighth inch more than the other day, nickel and diming our way to epic month... perhaps? the way it was coming down when I left, figured there'd be at least 4 when I got back... almost not worth using the blower for these, but it saves time, so yeah
  5. was ripping when I left the house about an hour ago with close to 2 otg new... now in Enfield, snowgrowth has improved here the last few minutes, maybe 1.5 here
  6. 20.5/16.3...nice growth now, vis down under 1/2 SM...eyeballing close to an inch with this burst.
  7. thanks, as I thought... would be nice to gather best 10 day and 4 week stretches.. will take some digging.. 17/15... almost.5" now
  8. what are the top 5 snowiest months, we'll pick ORH as a location. Will?
  9. vis has come down a good bit, under a mile...despite radar
  10. NAM has the hot hand lately...so we hope
  11. not sure about widespread 4-6, or the 5 that ALY has over my head, but the radar seems to be filing in nicely upstream in the last hour
  12. 17/14 here and we coat.. not sure when it began but it was before 530, that I know... very light, slowly increasing intensity..
  13. nah at all... I just want a good ripping band over my head is all... not complaining, at least over the last couple weeks... January was a different story
  14. can one of these systems have a band that rots over my head at 3-4"/hr? not complaining at all but I've been on both sides of every system this season, and still managed around 50" so far...the first two seasons after moving to Winsted from Waterbury was incredible, nearly 100" both years, then a couple ratters, perhaps this is the year we get back to at least climo here. got about 25-30 to go, outlook looks good, nickel and diming our way to it.
  15. is this including what fell the last week to now, or on top of what is otg? I assume total depth, includes what's otg already, no? stupid question but have to ask
  16. Half way there as it is...bring it on
  17. @The 4 Seasonst..hat last burst got me to 3... busted low by about an inch for what I was expecting...if the snowgrowth was better we'd have double that, but stat padder and nice winter look to boot...on to the next one.
  18. nice little burst here at the end may get me to 3...@ 2.85 now
  19. just measured, have 2.75", still lightly snowing, but can't see much more...btw both cores yeilded 15-16:1 ratios, seeing how everyone is discussing them
  20. 2.5...looks like the back edge approaching, don't think I'll be hitting 3 here. some serious returns in that band still, incredible without wind to boot... congrats!!
  21. I feel ya man..., vis down but growth has been far from stellar here, minus a few bursts here and there... just over 2" since 0945, closing in on the 3" I thought... amazing NWS had me at 6 less than 24 hours ago, only if I was 20 miles south, congrats those under that band that's now pivoting, looks like perhaps some double digit totals under that when done
  22. 25/23...bit of a lull now has picked back up with better growth... closing in on 2" now, vis under 1/2sm
  23. no, it's sticking, just looks like rain, varying intensity now, just measured and did a core, I'm at 1.25" and 16:1 ratio, approximately..
  24. get that deepening low to push a bit further NW with the precip, I'll be happy with what was falling, now just white rain
  25. basically flurries now, hope this fills back in, otherwise we bust low big-time
