NW flow?
meant northern stream...doesn't matter for me know anyway, now I am in NC, and it's 70 degrees...I didn't bring shorts. Enjoy the snow guys, whatever falls.

Euro taketh away...NW flow FTL, really needed some interaction here to get this little one to pop

I work on the other side of Plastic-Ville, but my room is on an interior lightwell, so I can't see any trees, etc.
Those folks from the power companies will be busy methinks
there nust be action, because usually when they deploy to an area expecting damage, they just chill until there is something to go to, and there is only one bucket truck left here now, so I would assume there are trees/power lines down around...it seems like every time I stay up this way, whatever hotel, there are national grid guys staying thee, weird
-
I think my anemometer at home needs calibration...only showing sustained of 11 and gust peak of 18...doesn't seem right to me

18k without power in Massachusetts from National Grid
I'm staying in Leominster and at the hotel, there are over 100 national grid guys, with no less than 18 bucket truck and one 90 footer

top of the hill in barkhamsted has a good accretion of ice, judging from the car it looks like at least .20", but only just above 1000', at my house nothing... I'm about to go to leomeinster for work, what's the situation up that way? anyone?

radar over the cape looks nice, any obs from there? SN or RN?
-
3.5" measured... well it's still snowing....sad when the largest single event you had all winter was in November
-
meh, looking like 3-4 out there, just started snowing again but radar not my friend
-

I'm right in the middle of that...and it's ripping, best snow of the season so far, that's kinda sad actually but still loving it...wish I could post the video I took, even resized it's too big

Got a decent dusting here. Feeling pretty good about inland areas of CT. Not as much for the shoreline.
yeah since I posted that, the grap has turned into better dendrites, hopefully we can rip here for a few hours like this and we'll hit 4-5", it is only 10 after all, wasn't expecting onset til about midnight or so
-
first flakes at about 9, pretty much pouring snow and grap right now... about 1/4" down, column needs to cool a lot more to pull off some better snow growth here, thinking maybe 4" total..29/20
-
I guess when I opened my phone it wasn't blocked yet...gross man, I thought my phone got hacked for a minute
-
looks like nice fronto SEMA to SVT, I don't think this is done coming north either imho, I see around the pike to rt 2 with a nice stripe of 3-6 w/ lollies... think the island and cape may taint.

Anecdotal. Show me the science. Winter has more sickness and it’s a tougher fight for your immune system but back and forth temperatures really don’t increase it.
I'm with you on this, in cold weather it's a combination of the body immune system weaker trying to keep you warm and the virus protecting itself by forming a layer around it so it can survive longer

I think that was another event that year I'd like to forget.
it was a good winter for my area, but we missed out on the real goods just to the east of us, still managed 89" that season though
Midweek event, Yah or Nah? February 27-28th Clipper
