biggest storm of the year so far?
This was def better than Jan 20th, it occured during the day and we got more snow/sleet than that storm.
Not for my area, of course I was up in Devens MA during the last one, but we had a couple more inches of snow in winsted before the change last storm. got 3.25 before the flip this time, and about an inch of sleet so far, and banging IP hard right now

+IP... about an inch worth, give or take 1/8th...so about 4.25" SNIP mix OTG...just took a ride to the store, roads haven't been touched, truck was having fun in the SNIP mixed roadways...20.1/13...hoping to get above freezing before the heavy rain falls here
-
straight IP and some ZR mixed in with the pixie dust here in Winsted, fairly heavy too....19.2/11

boy what a year with some great dp draining high pressures just bad luck with all these primaries cutting west
Maybe March will have a region wide treat
I have a feeling that we will get at least one big region wide all snow noreaster this winter....it has to break sooner or later. I am currently at the lowest seasonal total ever at 22.75, 15-16 was 27.75"
-
up to 18/10 now and +IP
-
IP has arrived, but the battle continues with the mangled flakes...3.25 before the flip, now on to the paint peeling...

Absolutely rippin out there right now...less than a 1/4 mi vis snow growth improved greatly...sitting at just about 3"...but I here reports of IP moving north, hoping the upper levels drain the cold and fight the tongue!! 17*/9* ans +SN

Off topic sorry, but how did you get the WU sticker to display, mine just shows the URl

Snow groth has actually improved in the last 10 minutes, and the spot I cleared has about a 1/4" on it from about a half hour ago, it still looks like all SN, but not as good as it could be...man it's cold out there. Also I finally changed my sig, I think, let me know if it shows up goo on the desktop version please. TIA

The sleet will add an inch or so...our 2-4” statewide call looks on track.
Yeah, gonna suck to clean, my first call days ago was 4-8, would have been nice if no taint happened and an all snow event region wide happened at least once this winter.
-
-
sitting right at 2", and snow growth has deteriorated considerably so I can expect sleet soon, man I was hoping for at least 4 before flipping...16*/8* and -SN
-
I like where I am for this one as well...my first early call was 4-8, more towards 8 near me and less SE of 84, I wonder how far north of the pike actually flips, funky mid level stuff going on there..
-
I mean 2015-16 I only managed just under 28", and for all the data I compiled for the closest official collection point, if i get 9" more I'll pass that, so in recent memory it's not the worst... I do think it's the model inconsistency that's frustrating...any explanation on the reason behind the giveth and taketh away from the run to run? is it the handling of the Nino? or just whatever upgrade to the models actually made it worse?

All set for another season guys!
If you were on the list last year, you're already on it for this season, and your username and password will still work.
Any additions for this season, via this thread, or PM, I will get to when I can.If you had the member edit page bookmarked, either delete it and bookmark it again, or edit the link to add the "s" after http, or you may get a 401 error.
Kev, I have a new phone and my password and username isn't saved and I do not remember them, can you provide or do I need to make new? thanks

5.75 total here, never flipped woke up at 230 an it looked pretty much done so nearly 6 in about 8 hours...not bad. maybe squall can add a bit to it.

after about an hour or so of pretty much dry slot, I'm back to pounding IP... never did get any ZR, snowblowed the driveway and measured, avg 4.5 SNIP mix, we'll see what happens when I wake up...that was some man snow too...up to 23/18 now .
