    There was some in a neighbors yard growing up, being a kid we tried them, they were awful and have seeds. Not sure if they were the same variety you have though they look similar.

    Yes, I try to stay out of the direct sun and I walk along the woods and into a cart path.

    My brother hasn't been bothered by them either and he lives 2 miles from me, for some reason my area is loaded with them.

    I didn't notice any. In the woods across the street there many, many more dead ash, lots have fallen too. If I was staying here, I'd grab some for firewood, no need to season. Where I'm going, I'm going pellets this time.

    I drive 20 west a lot and still see where the path was in Brimfield and Holland.

    I counted 12 dead ash trees in my neighbor's yard, tall trees too. One fell a week ago and missed his house by a few feet, it broke off 10 feet from the bottom. Lots of great firewood though.

    No fireworks but pouring like hell, although the dogs are barking so maybe they hear something.
