    Im with you there, I'm not a big beach guy so don't care if its hot, although I will go to the beach when its hot, I prefer the fall with a crisp, dry air.

    Deer fly's are out in full force this morning, me and the dog got bombarded on our morning walk. Need to wear a hat.

    Bugs are crazy when I walk the dog, something bit me in the ass and my left cheek is itchy as hell. Thought it might be a tick but nothings there but a bite.

    There was a lot in my yard tonight too.

    I have them in my shutters that face south. I remember painting the shutters one year and two flew out, I almost fell off the ladder.

    I saw a couple when I was out with the dog, one landed on the leash. I just hate the deer flies.

    My next-door neighbor does it every year, I think they all move to my yard.

    I get attacked every night when I walk my dog, deer flies are becoming a problem now too, funny when they go after my dog, she gets pissed.

    We had one year where we got hit by T-storms on Wed night league several times. I was usually halfway into my round with nowhere to hide.

    Just got hit by the season's first deer fly, got stuck in my hair and I got him before he could sting me.

    That's all I saw too, those two days have higher dews but mainly its fairly dry the next 10 days.

    I'm torn between getting a wood stove for the Maine house or a pellet stove, wife wants pellets.

    I have a huge dead ash tree with the bark peeling off, that would be instant firewood if I was staying here but I'm on to Maine in a month and my stove stays here.

    I see a lot of ash, that should be dry in no time.

    I'm still at 85/73, looks like tomorrow morning dog walk will be refreshing.
