Impressive thunder and lightning here. Rain is coming down at 1.25" an hour according to my weather station. Damn, one lightning strike right overhead.

This station is a few minutes from me and yesterday my weather station hit 75.5 for a DP. Right now my weather station is actually at 76.4 for Dew.

This was the last big storm at my old house before I moved here. It was one of my all time favorites. The way the snow piled up on my house reminded me of snow belt pics. Got a little less than 25"

Agreed. Plus many times, looking over prior years' 90 degree days, Central Park was similar to Trenton on many days. Some days Trenton was 91 and Central park was 89. That actually seems pretty plausible based on geography.

Small little training line in NJ over my area has dropped .20" so far.

Funny, this map shows them nearly surrounding my house. I live to the just west of the E in Edison. Maybe if I drive 5 minutes west I'll see them. .60" of rain last night.

You can get them at pharmacies too. There is a site down the road from me and now only see 5 or 6 cars there, and those are all most likely the workers.

2 million people is a lot though even with green areas. I didn't realize how much LV grew in population until I saw that chart and numbers. I wonder how many area's grew by 2 million in 30 years.

The population of metro LV went from 708,000 in 1990 to 2,700,000 in 2020. Those who say urban heat island contributed greatly to that # would have a decent argument I'd assume.
