  1. Almost looks like Carpet Phlox but I would assume thats well under bloom now for your area.
  2. Damn you far behind. My forsythia dropped their blooms a week ago.
  3. I'd aerate the shit out of that area. Get that area to drain/dry out as best you can.
  4. Was there 2 years ago. The scale of those gardens are nuts.
  5. Why not wait till September to dethatch when it’s the best time to do so?
  6. They're ugly, they smell horrendous, they shed a shit ton, and they grow like a weed.
  7. She doesn't need a hashtag to speak for her.
  8. I asked him the same question. I don't think he knows specifically. I can't imagine seeing surface fertilizer impacting a subsurface well. If I had to guess it's over 100' down. He's surrounded by about 20 houses and he's in a rural area. Just to his west is the vast expanse of the Hockomock Swamp.
  9. Those things a re a workhorse. I bought my HRX in 2004. I just recently had to replace the carburetor on it. The drive cables have also had to be replaced but that's about it. Pretty much a 1st pull start mower to this day.
  10. I'm with Ginx. I miss playing golf. When I got married, had a kid, got sick, and lastly the economy tanking, it ended any golfing. I have a 20+ year old set of King Kobra Irons in the Basement along with a Taylor Made Driver / 3wd and a Tight Lies Fairway wood. I'm sure the grips are toast.
  11. Let the dry out commence. All vestiges of snow gone. Once we dry, we clean up.
  12. It's just a snowfall amount. I don't thing the general public gives two shits about the actual amount that falls as much as they care about the day-to-day impacts of the snowfall itself. Conveying the latter is more important to me then whether or not a reporting station measures ever 6 hours and reports 6 vs 10.
  13. How is that crazy SOB. Haven't seen him in years.
  14. Where are you seeing that? https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&issuedby=BOX&product=PNS
  15. Not sure how much was lost from the bucket, but TAN reporting 0.75". My guess is they lost another 0.20 to 0.30". Stuff was like 8:1 ratios.
  16. That was the alpha omega of all thumps. Wow to those just N of me. I did better then expected. Gonna go with 9". That was some of the densest snow I've had to deal with at that depth. Snowblower ran out of gas 1/2 way thru the driveway. Maganges to get the street and the big areas done before. Still was a pain in the ass.
