  1. 40/70 Benchmark, You really need to go to meteorological school and become a degreed meteorologist! You have serious talent, you are a meteorological Einstein 2.0. You need to put these Brobdingnagian weather skills to work and make some money from them! Maybe as a kind of consultant. You are right up there with HM and Typhoon Tip. No. fracking. kidding.
  2. Jefferson County is Hollywood Casino ftw
  3. Wow. That is one YUGE article, kind of like an Opus about the weather this winter. This place is an exciting university where I learn so much it is unbelievable!

    Winter 2022-23

Wow, folks, this topic is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG! You know how I feel about the Mid Atlantic in the DJFM timeframe: COLD and VERY SNOWY. So damn much snow that you will be sick and tired of snow.
  5. It will. You guys are gonna get far more snow than you ever imagined this winter in the DC Metropolitan Region.
  6. Here in TEXAS We go the F--k BIG or we go home. BWI: 32.3" DCA: 24.7" IAD: 41.7" RIC: 27.7" Tiebreaker (SBY): 9.8" I have told you all before and I'll say it again: This is going to be a catastrophically frigid and catastrophically snowy winter in the Washington Metropolitan Region. My figures may well turn out to be too conservative. It's going to be frackin' EPIC!!! Dammit I am too late! TOO LATE! Well, I will still turn out to be correct. Its gonna be the Orchard Park, NY Winter of all-time in the DC Region! Don't you ever forget the Jebman told you first, when no one else believed in the Winter of 22-23!
  7. Love them dewpoints! 87/71 is my favorite weather down here in Texas.
  8. I live in South Central Texas, in Buda. I know this area is a hell of a lot drier than where I moved here from, N Virginia. Buda is lucky as heck to eke out 30 inches of rain in 365 days' time. But this so-called upper level low is a heartbreaker. We have eked out a ten thousandth of an inch from it so far. We had a 90 percent chance of rain last night. No rain. We had a 90 percent chance of rain today. Okay, I got three hundred light drops of rain, tho they were so damn small, I had to use a scanning electron microscope to see them. I have a 90 percent chance of rain tonight. I dont think so. We need rain bad in south central Texas. Everyone from all over is moving to south central Texas and we are absolutely sucking the Ogallala Aquifer dry. We need good rains BAD, but we are S.O.L., shoot out of luck. We are in a drought and we arent getting out of it for years to come. Every time we have a categorical chance of rain - I refuse to believe in it. We do better when we have a 10 percent chance of rain. Tomorrow, clearing skies, wall to wall Texas sunshine and back to our regularly scheduled drought. It's a MIRACLE! We got 2 inches of rain late last night after all!
  9. Yep, thats it. Used to get lost in there for hours and hours.
  10. You see how COLD November is in the mid atlantic? You want to know what Winter will be like. All you need to know, is this: The winter will remember November. I am sure I have cited the above saying wrong, but you get my drift. We are going to get many bitter cold troughs this winter. It is going to be severely cold at times. Storms will get timed, and snows will pile up. This is not going to be a mild winter, not even where I now live. I have gotten spoiled to death by mild winters. How do you get unspoiled? You get into the freezer or get thrown out into the trash dumpster. We just spent 2 weeks below normal even down here. This wont be the last monster freezing cold trough here in the Southwest. I think this winter down here in Texas is going to be several orders of magnitude more severe, than Feb 2021 was. Don't you ever forget that the Jebman was the very first to warn you about how horribly bad the winter of 2022-23 is going to be.
  11. You should see his infamous website, lots great snow pics. Not sure where the link is, lol
  12. Well, You wanted heavy snow, You got it! Embrace all that deep snow! Show your dedication to it by piling it as high as possible! This storm, IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!!
  13. I would give SO MUCH for that epic dethband to go on and on and on for days and days! One thing to remember: You can NEVER have too much snow !
  14. One thing they really know how to do well, is get those roads cleaned up FAST after the snow stopped. The plow crews in those parts are chained lightning. That much snow, if it had ever fallen in northern Virginia, would have shut that region down for weeks. Next time you have too much snow, call up the Buffalo snow removal crews.
  15. Its too bad all the guys who were covering the earlier band are fast asleep after being awake for three days. I wanna see what that new deathband is doing so bad. Someone on here needs to set up a high res camera in Hamburg. You guys are about to be obliterated! Again!
  16. You betcha that's incredible!!! You are gonna get to kick back and enjoy lots of it !!
  17. Reed Timmer is The BEST. I could get lost for hours watching his YouTube vids about this epic event. I see now why he is called The Dominator.
  18. You know its a bad LES event when your FOUR FOOT ruler is too damn short.
  19. This is going to go down as one of the worst lake effect events, particularly because of the wetness of the LES in this case.
