    and this is what's so frustrating. If the pattern goes warm, I'd just prefer it stays that way. Very frustrating to lose the pack over a 2 day stretch to then go right back into winter. My opinion is based only on snowmobile season where I'd rather crank through 3 more wks of winter then you can torch it.

    Pretty disappointing to see winter end this week if that is the case. I'm sure we'll see some more chances after Weds along with a bit of cold, but once the pack is decimated I'm read to move on. I thought we'd be safe at least till 2nd or 3rd week of the month, but such is life.

    wouldn't be surprised if the season ended in a wimper snowwise. The only saving grace to this season was the big dump on 1/26 and the prolonged cold - great for retention. Best riding season in years. Had it not been for the last good dump and the retention, season would have been very different. This is the time to cash in to build the pack heading into march, but window is starting to close slightly and my interest in big snows start to wane my mid march. We'll see how it shakes out
