    Well, Ninas are known to kill snow chances down in the Mid-Atlantic. But we just have to wait for the time that we get a +PDO Nino and maybe something can happen. With the warming climate if we get a blizzard it'll be a big one.

    Alright guys. HH GFS is about to run. It was what renewed our hopes yesterday. And honestly? Please stop with the cliff jumping. It's kinda ridiculous.

    I thought I would create this thread to give people a break from the doom and gloomy mess that the LR thread is. At least we have a chance to get on the board for January until the good pattern later that month. It's something to track so who cares. FWIW 18z HRRR and 12z FV3 are on board with something. 18z NAM not as much but still there. Edit: You can also include tonight's possible dusting in here as well. 100% for it.

    I would disagree with the can kick idea with this situation. It was always mid-late January that was going to be good. Then suddenly early-January pops up and gets overhyped, and then it disappears. IMO it was never our time, especially with that forecast +EPO.

    We would need to sort out the pacific before the East Coast gets chances for big snowstorms. I dislike that +EPO a lot. It's more likely mid-late January will offer that -WPO/-EPO/-AO/+PNA combination.
