  1. 52 for the low here. Some of us know how to generate real cold rather than that fake cold that has to get ushered in here from Canada…
  2. Yeah, I throw comments like that out there to see who's paying attention although my high temp was indeed 69, I swear!
  3. A high of 69 yesterday and a low of 34 this morning, lovely stuff.
  4. It was 25/65 here yesterday. The forecasted low for this morning was 36, at least at some point yesterday, made it down to 32.
  5. If there was any doubt I had a hard freeze yesterday all doubt was removed this morning.
  6. Winter coat? Are you a coat salesperson or a gloves salesperson? Which is it?
  7. True as well as precip and precip rates. My experience along the river is that peak is always a bit later because in my theory the Hudson is large enough to keep temps a couple of degrees warmer and not just right along the immediate banks.
  8. I always considered that to be influence from he Hudson River, it always seems to be later the closer you get to the river. Am I correct? Probably not, as is tradition, but I've been running with that for years so I ain't stopping now.
  9. Still some beautiful sights out there though
  10. Yep, crushed this week with at least 90% of the leaves in my yard down now.
  11. As demonstrated above in this thread.
  12. Here's one of the commercials, there were a number of them.
  13. Took this on Monday at the top of Crawford Notch, what you can't see is the clouds racing in and the wind was whipping which it often is at this location. It reminded me of the Molson beer commercials of the late 1980s that showed late fall shots as they talked about how "in Canada the wind blows a little wilder, the air is a little colder, winter comes a little wilder" if anyone recalls those. I'm not ready for winter just yet but this image definitely got my mind started.
  14. I’ve felt this more than once in the bathroom but it had nothing to do with an earthquake
