  1. I agree, the mesos are showing some hit or miss stuff. Yesterday they showed me as a miss but I got nailed so...either way, it doesn't look to be an all day washout.
  2. The amount of trees/branches down and power/tree crews on the road on the way into work this morning was impressive. I'm guessing most of that damage was done with the earlier line around 7pm though. Still lots of folks without power as of earlier this morning.
  3. A decent storm over this way, the gusty winds are down now but lots of lightning and booming thunder
  4. Got to 90 here for the first time since June, that make 4 on the season. Don’t get me started on how damn humid this summer has been though…
  5. @BxEngine https://www.albany.edu/news-center/news/2023-nys-mesonet-builds-statewide-weather-network-lake-placid-site?fbclid=IwAR0N0E9pwAlHQygDnoqdkY1Crp-95w5U_Sef1bpAVG-qxH1JHOADR9M2x_k_aem_ATc0FSOFXMB12aGEv7m1EDsnkqWcmXxG26rg5EEFgWt-UEkPVYViyx6_XcdDmJaIpHw
  6. Yeah, plenty of dews too for the next week at least.
  7. Just your run of the mill September Heat Advisory. I'm sure it wont even feel hot with the lower sun angle and shorter days.
  8. After a high of 85, it's now 79/70...exactly what Labor Day weekend should be....said someone at some point I'm sure.
  9. Wrong. It snuck down to 48 for the low.
  10. Looks like only 49 will do it here
  11. 25.54" for met summer, my wettest, topping 2011 which was 25.26". Of course we got slammed in Sept of 2011 as well, hopefully that doesn't happen this year.
  12. This mornings showers, .31, pushed me over 5" for the month. 5.02" to be exact.
  13. Oh don’t worry, it won’t “feel that hot” so the actual temps don’t matter, even if well above normal. So all is well, nothing to see here…
  14. Localized pop up showers around this afternoon as well.
  15. That was the first time I dealt with one, missed him the first two times but the third stomp was the charm.
  16. For the good of the forum, last night at PNC Bank Center. You're welcome.
  17. Violently agree on the mosquitoes, if there isn’t a breeze I’m done for unless of course there’s cigar smoke in the air
  18. And then some. .89” in the past 24 hours, August total of 4.71”
  19. Only got down to 56 here in the swamps of Campbell Hall, 58/56 currently. @Juliancolton was probably on the verge of frost this morning. I kid, I kid!
  20. .26. One last thin line to the west won’t add much if at all
